Dalton came out for a kiteboarding “Progression Session” to work on kite loops. We want him to be really comfortable with looping the kite before he tries “true” or high kite loops. We got him working on bankroll loops with a Eleveight Kites XS and he killed it! He took a beating but with Coach Alex in his ear the whole time via BBTalkin Bluetooth on a Brunotti helmet he did great and stayed safe! He Learned from this video that if he lets go of bar with any hand then he will not land and could injure ribs(especially at higher heights) if not wearing proper safety equipment. If he keeps both hands on the bar and follows through with kite loop all the way(keeps Pulling) he will land or be setup perfectly for landing. He is now ready to do handdrag bankroll loops and dark slides with a loop out. Once he is 100 percent confident with the loops he will begin doing proper kite loops at 15ft. or so out the water and work his way up!
Great Job Dalton!!
