I grew up in Morehead City, N.C. and was always on the water. I loved surfing and skateboarding as a kid and was first introduced to Kiteboarding in 2004. I was the youngest person in my area at the time and I slowly fell in love with the sport. In 2011 I worked for Real Watersports and learned a lot about being an instructor, the new gear and technology, and built up some great connections in the kiteboarding community. I loved living on the OBX and had soooooo much water time. I moved back home to Morehead City and I started a paddle board lesson and tour guide business in 2013 SUPdude Paddle Tours. As I ran this business for a few years I realized that The Crystal Coast is not just one of the best kiteboarding destinations in North America but even The World. I began a journey and one that would change my life forever, I made Teach’s Kiteboarding. Now we have been in business for 3 years and we love to make new kiteboarders and share the stoke with people everyday! There is no feeling like the “goosebumps” I get when I see someone get there first ride or land there first backrolll or just watching them progress! This Feeling runs through us all and I strive to have a team of coaches that share this same feeling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing up in Morehead City and the Crystal Coast area I have always had easy access to everything Ocean and wind sport related my love for the ocean started at a young age and has only strengthend over the years. The Crystal Coasts \u00a0warm inviting uncrowded kite spots are world class and offer everything I need to stay happy as a hardcore kiteboarding enthusiast from buttery flats to insane 20 mile ocean downwinders. I am happy and lucky to call this place home.\u00a0I have been passionate about teaching Kiteboarding both full and part time for 9 years. I love sharing the sport that has enriched my life and given me so much with others. I believe that Kiteboarding is a sport that is for everyone and should be accessible for everyone. When I\u2019m not Kiteboarding I enjoy surfing, eating Cheese Burgers and long walks on the beach with my dog Bella.<\/div>\n
